GL41-1016Q Ductile Iron Flange Y-Type Filter

Y-type filters effectively remove mechanical impurities from pipeline fluids and are used to filter flowing liquids that do not corrode stainless steel or cast iron. Y-type filters are widely used in circulating cooling water systems, heat exchange systems, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, district heating systems, hot water boiler systems, etc. Y-type filters require that the temperature of the medium flowing through the water treatment device not exceed 225℃.

Specification

Installation & maintenance

(1) Install the filter at the front end of various matching valves on the inlet pipe.

(2) Clean the filter periodically according to the amount of trapped material. Before cleaning, close the valve before the filter.

(3) Remove the valve cover and clean off any debris adhering to it.

(4) Remove the filter cartridge, remove any debris, and clean the filter screen.

(5) Clean the valve body.

(6) Reassemble the filter and continue using it.
