Stainless Steel Wire Y-Type Filter

The GL11Y type filter is an indispensable device in pipelines transporting media. It is typically installed at the inlet of pressure reducing valves, pressure relief valves, level control valves, or other equipment to remove impurities from the media, thus protecting the valves and equipment from damage. When fluid enters the filter cartridge containing a filter screen of a specific size, impurities are blocked, while clean filtrate is discharged from the filter outlet. When cleaning is required, simply remove the detachable filter cartridge, clean it, and reinstall it. Therefore, its use and maintenance are extremely convenient.

This type of filter features a double-layer mesh structure, making it robust and durable. It boasts advanced design, low flow resistance, convenient drainage, and a large dirt-holding capacity, making it ideal for media such as water and steam. When cleaning is required, simply remove the detachable filter cartridge, clean off the filtered impurities, and reinstall it. Maintenance and use are extremely convenient. The mesh size of the filter can be customized to meet customer needs.

Working Principle

Water to be treated enters the filter body through the inlet. Impurities in the water are deposited on the stainless steel filter screen, creating a pressure difference. A differential pressure switch monitors the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet. When the pressure difference reaches a set value, the electronic controller sends signals to the hydraulic control valve and drive motor, triggering the following actions: the motor drives the brush to rotate, cleaning the filter element; simultaneously, the control valve opens to discharge wastewater. The entire cleaning process lasts only tens of seconds. When cleaning is complete, the control valve closes, the motor stops rotating, and the system returns to its initial state, ready to begin the next filtration step.
