Stainless Steel Y-Type Filter

The Y-type GL41W stainless steel flange filter is an essential filtration device for hydraulic control valves and precision, easily clogged mechanical products. It is an indispensable component in pipeline systems that transport media, typically installed at the inlet of hydraulic control valves, pressure reducing valves, pressure relief valves, and level control valves. It removes impurities from the media, prevents particulate matter from entering the channel and causing blockages, and protects the fittings on the equipment pipeline from wear and clogging.

The GL41W stainless steel Y-type filter is suitable for steam, air, kerosene, water, and weakly corrosive gases and liquids. The standard grade stainless steel Y-type filter features an advanced structure, low resistance, easy flushing, rapid flow, low pressure loss, strong anti-fouling properties, and convenient slag discharge.

The stainless steel Y-type filter is used in conjunction with valves and other major equipment in pipelines, or it can be used independently. The medium in the pipeline first enters the filter, passes through the filter screen, and then enters the connecting valves and pipelines, while impurities are retained in the filter housing.

The stainless steel Y-type telescopic filter consists of a Y-type filter and a telescopic joint. It is typically installed at the inlet end of valves and other major equipment to facilitate cleaning and installation/disassembly, protecting valves or equipment and ensuring normal operation.

The stainless steel Y-type pipeline filter is a small device that removes solids from liquids, protecting compressors, pumps, and other equipment and instruments, ensuring stable process operation and safety. Furthermore, the stainless steel Y-type filter is also of great significance in improving product quality.

Selection of Stainless Steel Flange Y-Type Filters

Generally, the water filter mesh is 18-30 mesh/cm², the air filter mesh is 40-100 mesh/cm², and the oil filter mesh is 100-300 mesh/cm².

1.Inlet/Outlet Diameter: In principle, the inlet/outlet diameter of the filter should not be smaller than the inlet diameter of the matching pump, and is generally consistent with the inlet pipe diameter.

2.Nominal Pressure: The pressure rating of the filter is determined according to the highest pressure that may occur in the filter pipeline.

3.Mesh Count Selection: This mainly considers the particle size of the impurities to be intercepted, and is determined according to the process requirements of the media flow. The particle size that various specifications of filter screens can intercept can be inquired directly with our company.

4.Filter Material: The filter material is generally selected to be the same as the material of the connected process pipeline. For different service conditions, cast iron, carbon steel, low alloy steel, or stainless steel filters can be considered.
